Foxclaw Paranormal Reasearch & Investigation

About Us and What We Do

As it stands right now, the group is primarily focused on what is known as “Ghost Hunting”, but without the dramatization and overreactions as shown on TV and movies. It is not that we are excluding everything else that is included in the paranormal world and community, it is just that we have not come across anything to suggest any effort in research and investigation into other topics.

We are always looking to interview and recruit new members into our group so long as it is a serious and sincere endeavor on his or her part. We are a small group at the moment, and a number of our members live states away.

For prospective members, I've created a “Field Guide” to be reviewed and acknowledged. The “Field Guide” includes what I believe are vital things to do what we do and establish a name for ourselves in the paranormal community.

Something I have noticed while researching for the "Field Guide" documents, while also reorienting myself with current theories, equipment, types of phenomenon, etc., I noticed an unfortunate trend that tells why paranormal research is made fun of and not taken seriously. Most of the different groups out there today seem to universally investigate with the assumption that any kind of fluctuation or “abnormal” reading/activity is inherently supernatural and indicative of “ghost” activity. I have to agree with a few skeptics' articles I have read on how the paranormal community portrays itself. One is quoted saying:

“They're nothing more than a bunch of adults playing with expensive flashy toys while running around in the dark believing that every little noise, every little trick of shadow, is a ghost.”
With this group, I want to change that negative connotation.

Also worth noting, there is no contract or commitment. Feel free to drop-in and/or leave at anytime. I know that most enjoy this kind of thing as more of a hobby. That is how I started. You will be given credit in any presentations of collected and reviewed footage.

Also, we are a non-profit type of group. So, if you are looking at this as some kind of job to get paid, I say good luck to you in your endeavors to find such a group. This is purely for the interest, love, and the passion for all things not quite accepted as what has been established as normal in the world.

If you have any questions you can contact us and we will try to answer as best as we can. If we do not know something, we will research it and get back to you. We admit that there are many many things we do not know at the moment, but we are trying to keep up with current theories, phenomenon, and equipment.
